- We then send you a scanned copy of the document by email and then get the original certificate delivered by courier
Companies House can include the following additional information including the particulars of the shareholders of the Company on the date the certificate is issued. This information on the Certificate of Good Standing will prove the status and ownership of a company at the time of issue. Only the company for whom a certificate is sought may request the granting of these additional details on the certificate.
In order to be able to include the particulars of the shareholders of the company in the Certificate of Good Standing the company needs to file a voluntary return of its shareholders. This return must be dated with the same date as the request for the Certificate of Good Standing. Filing a voluntary return of members is not a statutory requirement.
The voluntary return of members must be submitted and signed by a Secretary or a Director of the Company.
Additionally, we can provide an Apostilled certificate of Good Standing which officially legalises the document for international use.
The certified certificate of Good Standing is drafted by the Gibraltar registrar, this is then notarised and apostilled at the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
If the Gibraltar Company is not in Good Standing the registry will issue instead an extract confirming the current company status.
Voluntary Return of Shareholders
If it is your company and you are ordering the Certificate of Good Standing the shareholders of the Gibraltar company can, as an option be included.
To include this a return of Shareholders must be completed and submitted to the Registry at the same time as the Certificate of Good Standing is ordered. These details included can be used to prove the status and ownership of your Gibraltar company.
