BVI Company Registry – Registrar of Corporate Affairs
The Registry of Corporate Affairs, the Financial Services Commission is responsible for the registration of all companies incorporated in the BVI and is the regulatory authority for all financial services within the BVI and registration of Trade Marks and Patents
The Registry of Corporate Affairs primarily administers the BVI Business Companies Act, and is responsible for ensuring that entities doing business in and from within the Territory are duly registered, and that the Register of Companies is properly maintained.
The BVI Companies Act requires the Registrar of Corporate Affairs to maintain the following:
- Register of Companies incorporated under the Act
- Register of Foreign Companies registered under Part XI
- Register of Charges registered under part VIII
