The Czech Republic public register records statutory information concerning legal persons governed by private law. General rules governing public registers are set out in Section 120 of Act No 89/2012, the Civil Code. More detailed rules governing the Czech Republic public registers kept by the courts are set out in Act No 304/2013 on public registers of legal and natural persons.

The Ministry of Finance provides a single-point access to all data concerning businesses in the Czech Republic. The Business Register is led by the Registration Court and the data is filed by its ten registration offices.

Czech Registry Filing Requirements
All companies must be registered in the Commercial Register and with the Trade Licensing Office.
Czech Companies must maintain and annually submit a balance sheet as well as a profit and loss statement at the court. The auditing of the annual financial statements is mandatory for large and medium-sized companies.
Cezech Companies must also register their beneficial owners in the Register of Beneficial Owners.
