In Australia, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) does not issue a Certificate of Good Standing. Instead, ASIC provides a Certificate of the Registration of a Company. This certificate, issued under Paragraph 1274(2)(b) of the Corporations Act 2001, confirms a company’s registration details and its status as a registered entity under Australian law.
