In Belgium, corporations are registered by the Commercial Court and further details are then filed with the Crossroad Bank for Enterprises (KBO) - Unfortunately, they don't issue Certificates of Good Standing.
The KBO can issue a extract with all company details in Dutch or French, which shows that the company is active and the kind of activities it participates in. The document can be in Dutch or French, this is dependent on where the company is based in Belgium.
The Extract provided is called the Extrait Intégral des Données D'une Entreprise Personne Morale and includes the latest filed details on the company. The Extract is an official document that we can provide legalised by the Ministry of Economy and then, if required Apostilled by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Although it can be seen to serve a similar purpose, this is not really a Certificate of Good Standing comparable with other countries.
We can also provide a Certificate of Registration/Certificat D'Inscription which is issued by the Commercial Court of Brussels. This certificate is produced once ordered, signed and stamped by the Tribunal de Commerce de Bruxelles.
We can also provide you an certificate delivered by the commercial court attesting that the company exist and good standing. But this document shows only the name, address and entreprises number of the company.
This official Certificat D'Inscription confirms:
We can provide an Apostilled Certificate of Registration/Certificat D'Inscription for a Belgium company. This document is legalised and Apostilled at the Federale Overheidsdienst Buitenlandse Zaken/Service public fédéral Affaires étrangères/Föderaler Öffentlicher Dienst Auswärtige Angelegenheiten
