The Panama Certificate of Incorporation is issued by the Registro Público de Panamá when a company is incorporated. We can provide a registry copy of a Panama company incorporation certificate which includes the company name, company number, date of incorporation and states that a company is registered. This document will be in Spanish as filed with the Panamanian registry.
We are able to obtain a Certificado del Registro Publico/Certificate of Good Standing from the Public Registry in Panama certifying that a company is in good standing. The Certificate resembles the initial Certificate of Incorporation and is used to formally confirm the company's continued legal existence. It also confirms that all administrative requirements have been complied with.
This certificate will also state if the company is in voluntary liquidation or proceedings have been started to strike the company off the Panama Public Registry. There are limited requirements to file documents with the Panama Public Registry.

The Government of Panama have approved Law 52, dated October 27, 2016, published in Official Gazette No. 28149-B, which requires maintaining Accounting Records for legal entities with activities outside Panama. All legal entities which do not carry out activities within the Republic of Panama, are required to maintain accounting records and its support documentation at the offices of the Resident Agent, or any other place within or outside Panama. the legal entities must provide to the Resident Agent, with the following information in writing the physical address where they are maintained, as well as support documentation. or the name and details of the person who keeps them in custody. Legal entities which do not comply with the obligations will be subject to fines and the Resident Agent is required to register its resignation at the Public Registry.
