Once incorporated we provide a set of corporate documents for your Latvia company which, includes the Certificate of Incorporation, Memorandum of Association the Articles of Association, first minutes and share certificates. Copies of the company incorporation documents are sent via email and the originals from the companies registry are sent to you in a corporate folder.
Latvian companies are required to have a bank account in Latvia. The share capital needs to be deposited into a bank account before the incorporation process.
The minimum share capital requirement is €2,800. At least half to be paid up at the time of registration, the remaining part must be paid within one year from the company registration date.
Directors may be of any nationality. There is no requirement to appoint a Latvia resident director. The names of directors are filed at the companies registry
Shareholders may be of any nationality. There are no restrictions on foreign sharholders. Shareholders of the Latvia company can be either corporations or individuals.
We check that your Latvia company name is acceptable and is not already incorporated with the Latvia Companies Registry. A name of a limited liability company must include words "Sabiedrība ar ierobežotu atbildību" or "SIA".

There is no legal obligation for a Latvian Sabiedrība ar ierobežotu atbildību to have a company secretary - we can provide this service if it is required.
